This Rose is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvedre that combines the best traditions of the Bandol appelation with the technology of today. DomaineOtt Rouge Bandol France Description: The grapes used in making this red wine come from vines no less than 15 years of age. The Mourvedre, a local variety gives the wine its round, robust quality, abd it is the dominant variety used in this wine, as required by the appellation. Additionally, Cinsault is used for its fresh, velvety elegance and Grenache rounds off the wine and give it body, strength and bouquet. Finally, there is a little Syrah to give verve to the wine as well as slight hints of liquorice. The result is a wine showing a spicy character with a truly generous blackcurrant and morello cherry bouquet. It is tannic, warm and well balanced. (6 x 75 cl) Price: £196.28
