Description: Marchesi di Barolo has been producing the finest Piedmontese DOC and DOCG wines for more than 100 years. Historically they are known for producing the first Barolos, made from Nebbiolo grapes and the finest Crus from the Cannubi area. Vines situated in the finest positions of the zone of origin provide the grapes for the production of this Barbera. A fresh and fruity aroma with clear scents of vanilla and roasted hazelnuts. This wine has a warm and robust nature which develops a complexity after maturation of six to twelve months in small barrels of toasted French oak. It is then refined in the bottle.
