He purchased the original cellars built by John Riddoch in 1896 and began a winemaking legacy that continues to this day. The only blend in the range, Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet/Shiraz/Merlot captures all the elegant fruit character that Coonawarra has to offer in a wine that drinks best while relatively young. The Cabernet provides flavour, length and structure; the Shiraz imparts a spicy complexity and richness, while the Merlot adds softness. The resulting red offers a rich balance of varietal characters in a smooth and approachable wine. Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon , Shiraz and Merlot .
