Description: Colour: intense garnet red that turns brick red with age. Bouquet: full with notes of cinnamon and ripe fruits, enhanced by traces of oak. Taste: dry, full-bodied, well balanced. The tannins give a soft, velvety finish. Good persistence with an intense, pleasant aftertaste Vinification and Refinement: red wine method with maceration on the skins for 15 days. After a significant decanting process, the wine is stored in barriques for up to 2 years. This ageing period is decided on by careful sampling from the barrique. A third year of ageing in the bottle is necessary before its release. Serving Temperature: best served at 18-20ºC. Should be decanted. Area: Serralunga d'Alba (6 x 75 cl)

Description: Colour: deep ruby red going towards violet. Bouquet: intense, fruity with hints of cherry and sweet vanilla. Taste: full, rich, with well-balanced tannins and a good persistent after-taste. Vinification & Refinement: l'Arsigà is created by assembling Dolcetto grapes from four different vineyards. Once the grapes reach ripeness they are harvested. The must obtained by pressing is left to ferment for around 7-8 days at a temperature that varies between 20 and 22º C. The wine is then filtered and half is left to refine in steel tanks and half in barriques. At the end of spring the two wines are mixed together and the wine is left in the bottle 4 or 5 months prior to being released. Area: The vineyards are all south facing with an altitude that varies between 300 and 400 metres. (6 x 75 cl)

Vinification and Refinement: as each grape variety is harvested at different times, they are crushed and fermented separately, according to the exigencies of the variety. The blending of these cépages, takes place at the moment of the ageing process of which a small percentage is aged in barriques for up to 6 months. The wine is refined for a further 3 to 6 months in the bottle before being released. It is made from an assemblage of three important local varieties: Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo Grapes.
