Founded in 1960, it currently has 250 members cultivating 400 hectares of vineyards in the Sulcis area, on the south-western side of the island. Bright dark ruby coloured wine with a hint of purple and touches of garnet at the edge. Warm ripe dark fruit aromas laced with the smell of warm melting chocolate, as well as dark ripe black cherries showing in both the aromas and on the palate. Full and warm in the mouth with super-ripe cooked raspberry flavors and balanced by hints of tar make this wine smooth and lush throughout, with a warm finish. (6 x 1.5 Litres)
