With 100 hactares of mature vineyards, situated in the foothills of the Sistema Iberico mountain range, it only produces restricted yields of Garnacha , Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Chardonnay. Aiming to be the new face 'La Nueva Cara' of Carinena, Care's striking label design sets them apart from the mainstream and gives a clue to the modern, yet characterful style of the wines being made. The Garnacha Cabernet, Finca Bancales certainly sets new levels of achievement for the region and it's rich, concentrated, multi layered complexity fires a shot accross the bows of some of its more illustrious neighbouring regions. A remarkably supple, velvety smooth red with hints of ripe wild strawberry fruit coupled with savoury notes from the time in barrel. Well balanced with a juicy, succulent, moreish finish.
