Vina Casa Tamaya is set in 210 hectares of which 108 of are planted to vines. The vineyards were established in 1997 and its primary white grape varieties are Chardonnay, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc and the red grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenere, Syrah and Sangiovese. A noble, lively red in coloured wine while on the nose, delicate aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry and truffles appear playfully against a background of sweet vanilla. Smooth, firm tannins are fully evident on the palate, accompanied harmoniously by a touch of fine spices, blackberries and blueberries. An elegant, long finish rounds this wine off perfectly.
