Description: At the turn of the nineteenth century Josep Masachs Llorach, a vineyard owner in Vilafranca del Penedes, began to make a Cava for his friends and family to enjoy. Today Masachs is one of the leading quality Cava producers with a very modern cellar completed in 1985. The Louis de Vernier Cava is produced from the traditional Penedes grapes of Macabeo, Xarello and Parellada selected from the finest vineyards of the region. Covides GRAN GESTA Cava Penedes DO

Segura Viudas Brut Reserva Cava
Description: Segura Viudas started producing Cava in the 1950s in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, the most famous of Cava towns. Using the premium Cava varietals of Macabeo, Xarello and Parellada, they only utilise the first 40% of the juice. The must undergoes fermentation prior to blending in a specific style. It is transferred to bottle for secondary fermentation for a minimum of two or three years. The Brut Reserva demonstrates a fruity bouquet, and is smooth and fresh on the palate. (6 x 75 cl)
