Description: Planeta has risen spectacularly since inception in 1994, being named Winery of the Year 1999. From the Dorilli vineyard in Acate comes this blend of Frappato and Nero d'Avola . A wine with a fruity nose, reminiscent of red berries, strawberries, cherries, figs, ginger and fruit drops, has the same distinctive aromas appear on the palate and the tannins are never overpowering. Supple with a long finish due more to its freshness than its concentration this is an enjoyable wine. (6 x 75 cl)
