| Description: |
 |
The Bernede family is one of the oldest producers of Cahors and yet Phillipe Bernede who now makes the wine favours a more supple modern style of this famously tannic red. Produced from Malbec or Cot, he adds up to 30% Merlot to soften the blend and ages the wine in oak before release. Full of dark hedgerow fruit and smooth spicy tannins, this is big, gutsy and rustic, proper French country wine. (12 x 75 cl)
