The vineyards are planted with a typical Pomerol mix of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. After fermentation the wine spends 20 months ageing in oak barrels, 25% of the barrels are new, each year. Very well situated between the two châteaux that make up its name, Lafleur and Gazin, Lafleur-Gazin is a very reliable source of good value Pomerol. The estate is managed by JP Moueix of Château Pétrus and this is reflected in the rich, fruity style. (12 x 75 cl)
