Chateau Gruaud-Larose 2eme Cru Classe Saint Julien
Description: Dating back to 1725, the estate was grouped into a number of small vineyards and in 1757 Mr. Gruaud formed one large one, under his name. Eventually a descendant of the first owner took over the property, his name was Larose, and he immediately linked his name to the estate, it was subsequently purchased by Mr Desire Cordier in 1915. Gruaud Larose is one of St. Julien's most popular and prestigeous wines. Its production has a quality that is consistently high and one of the most continuously successful wines produced in Bordeaux, regardless of vintage. The 2002 deep red couloured wine and has black forrest fruits aromas and a balanced tannin structure. (12 x 75 cl)
