Chapoutier GRANGES de MIRABEL Viognier de l'Ardeche Description: Chapoutier is a great producer in the Rhone now run by the seventh generation of the family. This Viognier is both organic and biodynamic from high altitude vineyards in the rocky, volcanic landscape of the Coiron plateau in the Ardeche. The grapes are hand-harvested & around 20% are barrel fermented to add some complexity. The resulting wine is has a wonderful orange blossom scent, generous fruit character with flavours of ripe nectarine & a touch of white pepper spice and a long, fresh finish.
