An additional 13 hectares of Chablis 1er Cru are also owned from which Vaillons, Fourchaume, Cote de Lechet, Les Lys and Beauroy are produced. The recently constructed cellar is equipped with stainless steel tanks combined with the purchase of modern, powerful cellar equipment has enabled the group to increase its production, because all of Daniel Dampt's wines are produced and bottled by the domaine. This means all the wines are made from grapes grown in his own vineyards, which is a crucial factor in establishing the personality and quality of the wines. Known as the 'Gateway to Burgundy', the name Chablis conjures up great images in people's minds. The character of the wines is thanks to the Chardonnay vines being planted on unique chalky limestone and clay. When this is combined with a great climate where the sun shines throughout the growing season, the vineyard slopes can produce great wines.
