Domaine Louis Michel is a leading family owned vineyard in Chablis with a reputation for consistently and high quality on the 45 acre estate. Up until 1970 the wines were fermented and matured in oak barrels. By 1980 the oak was discarded for stainless steel and Domaine Louis Michel is now widely recognised as the prime exponents of unoaked Chablis in the region. The soils of the area are rich with Kimmeridgian limestone that provides the character for this wine. Vinified in stainless steel tanks with no barrel ageing, the objective is to make wines which reflect the distinctiveness of the vineyards from which they are produced. A golden yellow coloured Chardonnay brimming with minerally richness. Aromas of white flowers, white pepper and talc abound with citrus and mineral flavours offering very good intensity and a firm finish. Available in Half Bottles. (12 x 37.5 cl)
