Le Thibaude has been in the hands of the Crochet family since the 16th century. Jean- Marc Crochet runs the Domaine, which spreads over 10 hectares in the village of Bue in the heart of Sancerre.. The vines have an average age of 25 years and are planted on clay-limestone soils at higher altitude giving the wines structure and concentration, and on clay soils, which contribute fresh mineral characteristics representative of the Bue terrior (12 x 75 cl)

Domaine Lucien Crochet LA CROIX du ROY Sancerre Description: A Pinot Noir from limestone, chalk and kimmeridgean clay soils it is aged in 55% barriques and 45% cuve. Delightful cherry blossom nose, sleek, svelte ripe Pinot fruit of cherries and summer berries, with a good lively, juicy finish.
