Description: Grant has been experimenting successfully with this wine for a number of years and he is looking to produce a Barossa wine using some European winemaking techniques to further enhance the versatility of Barossa Shiraz, for which the area is renowned. The blend is 96% Shiraz and 4% Viognier, with the majority of the fruit sourced from Eden Valley. Delicate rose petals and honeysuckle characters combine with dried fruit and complex spice aromas creating an enticing nose. The palate is soft and approachable with generous plum and berry flavours, with a hint of white pepper, ginger and cardamom pods, well-integrated oak and fine, elegant tannins.
