Parrina ANSONICA Costa dell'Argentario DOC
Description: Ansonica is the Tuscan name for the Inzolia grape and this is a yellow straw coloured wine with a rather distinctive and fruity bouquet showing a dry harmonious taste through to the finish. Ansonica is a fairly rare grape variety grown in Italy since time immemorial. It was probably imported originally from Greece. The contact between the Hellenic and the Mediterranean cultures, first with the Etruscan and then with the Roman one, enabled the ancient Italian population to appreciate the wine obtained from this grape. This variety has found its' ideal environment in Sicily, where it's called (12 x 75 cl)
