The Hardys Tintara range is made from premium fruit sourced from vineyards in the best wine regions of SouthAustralia and these wines have been hand crafted, enhancing their fine quality, intensity and true varietal expression. Innovative and traditional winemaking techniques have produced a stylish Chardonnay wine, while the cool climate fruit was partially barrel fermented with lees contact in French oak and matured for 8 months in new and seasoned oak. Pale straw yellow in colour with youthful green tinges, the Tintara Cellars Chardonnay displays lifted pear and rockmelon notes complemented by hints of musk and spicy vanillin oak. The palate is light and fresh with delicate stone fruit characters that envelope a creamy middle palate. Softly spiced French oak character adds structure and balance to the wine. An elegant style with a smoothly textured palate and a long fresh finish.
