Description: This wine is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, the same variety used for Brunello di Montalcino, which are harvested by hand in ten year-old vineyards on the property. Part of the wine ages for 12 months in medium-sized Allier oak barrels, and the rest in barriques. The wine completes its maturation period in bottles for 6-9 months before it is sold. This wine is ruby red in color with a pleasantly intense bouquet of wild berry fruits. The palate is velvety and lingering with excellent structure and smooth tannins. (6 x 75 cl) Price: £112.65
