Description:
Founded in 1877 and located in the Sherry Triangle formed by the towns of Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa Maria and Sanlucar de Barrameda, Williams and Humbert consistently produce some of the best Sherries in Jerez. On average this sherry is aged over 5 years in large American oak butts and this has produced a dark mahogny colour showing raisin and moscatel flavours. Smooth, rounded and full bodied it is lusciously sweet, with a long persistent after-taste perfect for a winter evening, and remains one of the last brown Sherries in the UK market. (12 x 75 cl)

Description: Puerto De Santa Maria have conditions that allow a thicker layer of flor to develop than for Sherries made further in land. In Jerez, sherries from El Puerto De Santa Maria therefore age without any great level of oxidation and have distinctive taste and colour wth a great deal of delivery in style. This is an old wine that has the particularity of having both ageing processes. It was Fino during three years and then started the oxidation process for at least five years. Delicate brown colour and an iodine nose with punch. Light and delicate to taste with an excellent flavour and a rich dry finish. (12 x 75 cl) Price: £171.38
