Domaine Jean-Luc Joillot Pinot Noir Bourgogne
Description: Smokey bramble spice with the structure to be expected from this grower based in Pommard. Good depth of fruit and some evident tannin. Jean-Luc father died when he was very young and as a result the estate was held in trust for him until he was 21 years old. That was many years ago and today he uses traditional Burgundian methods, enthusiastically overseeing every aspect of the winemaking process. Recently he was named president of the Winemakers’ Association in Pommard. (12 x 75 cl)
