La Prendina ALTO MINCIO Pinot Grigio IGT Cascina
Description: The Azienda Agricola La Prendina was acquired in 1958 and at first the wines were sold under the Cavalchina brand. The first wine to use the name of La Prendina was a Merlot bottled in 1980 for Gualtiero Marchesi, but it was only in 1990 that we see the wines of La Prendina sold under the name La Prendina. In the vineyard La Prendina aims to grow full flavoured concentrated grapes while the task in the cellar is to express the nature of the grape and terroir. A yellow coloured wine with good fruit on the nose and palate. This Pinot Grigio is subtle and well balanced with a very satisfying texture. (12 x 75 cl)

Cascina Baricchi Dolcetto D'Alba
Description: Situated in the small village of Neviglie Cascina Baricchi is a relatively young enterprise; the estate was purchased in 1979 but the first vintage was as recent as 1996. The owner is an extrovert young chap called Natale Simonetta. He likes experimentation. this is why he started to produce ice wine , sparkling Nebbiolo and Voila' . After 8 months ageing this Dolcetto is a lovely expression of that variety, revealing good acidity, unobtrusive tannins and aromatic fruits it has a pleasant bitter twist at the end. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: Situated in the small village of Neviglie Cascina Baricchi is a relatively young enterprise; the estate was purchased in 1979 but the first vintage was as recent as 1996. The owner is an extrovert young chap called Natale Simonetta. He likes experimentation. this is why he started to produce ice wine , sparkling Nebbiolo and Voila' . Et Voila is something to behold. The grapes are picked up the first week of August. The first fermentation is in stainless steel tank, where the wine remains until the following May and afterwards the wine remains on the lees for a further six years. Great complexity with pure elegance on the nose and in the mouth. (6 x 75 cl)

Cascina Castlet BARBERA D'ASTI VESPA DOC
Description: Full, purple-red colour, vivid plummy fruity on the nose and a ripe, smooth palate with lots of fruit character. Thanks to a unique combination of brilliantly innovative packing and exciting and rare styles, the wines of Cascina Castlet have quickly developed a cult following. Passum is their most famous wine, a Barbera made from partially dried grapes. Quantities are extremely limited and demand is high.
