Chateau La Clyde Cadillac
Description: Cadillac is often though of as the capital of the 1er Cotes, but is now an appellation in its own right. La Clyde is a 17 hectare estate where very small quantities of the grapes are affected by noble rot. Aged for 12 months in oak, the wine is decadently rich and intense, with characters of zesty orange marmalade, honey, syrup and mouth-watering citrus oil, it remains supple, balanced and fragrant. Description: Mesta Tinto has been made with Tempranillo grapes from the Fontana vinyards and once in the winery the fruit was frmented at low temperatures to keep all the aromas. A deep and bright ruby coloured wine showing a fruit driven nose with enticing aromas of ripe red berry fruits. In mouth there are ripe and chewy tannins that are concentrated, firm while there is good persistence on the finish. (12 x 75 cl)
