This rose is a blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache displaying a nice deep colour and intense aromas of crushed strawberry, mixed with peppermint. Well balanced, a freshness whith hints of fresh fruits give way to a complex and flinty finish. A well-known estate taken over by Jean-Benoit Cavalier in 1984 which seems to be on the right tracks again after a few years in the doldrums. The vineyards are situated in the communes of Vacquieres and Corconne north east of the Pic Saint Loup. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: Les Nobles Pierres is an of assemblage 90% Syrah and 10% old Grenache vines and aged in Allier oak barrels for twelve months. A lovely deep red colour showing a complex but elegant nose of vanilla, red fruits, pepper and tapenade. An excellent attack, with silky, melted tannins it is fat, voluminous, and round. A long finish of great complexity, on notes of vanilla, licorice, laurel, pepper and olives, finesse and elegance are the essential characteristics of this wine.
