Livio Felluga TERRE ALTE Fruili-Venezia-Giulia
Description: Straw yellow in colour, the Terre Alte from Livio Felluga is complex on the nose, with flowery aromas from the Sauvignon mixing with sweet fruit notes of candied peel and of acacia honey from the Pinot Bianco. On the palate the wine has great balance, being full-bodied but with enough acidity for a fresh, clean finish First produced in 1981, Terre Alte is perhaps Livio Felluga’s most famous wine, and is considered one of Italy’s greatest whites. The Tocai Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon Blanc fruit used in the fabled blend are sourced from a 129-hectare holding at Rossazo (6 x 75 cl)

Description: The 'Illivio' Pinot Bianco from Livio Felluga is a complex and full-bodied wine with notes of white flowers, exotic fruit and a hint of spice on the nose. Rich, creamy and honeyed on the palate it is well balanced and has very good length. Founder Livio Felluga was one of the great names of Italian wine. Recently revitalised by his two sons Andrea and Maurizio, this 139 hectare estate is now well on the way to reclaiming its rightful place among the great producers in Italy. The energy injected into the estate by the younger generation of the family has been harnessed by consultant viticulturalist/winemaker Stefano Chioccioli (6 x 75 cl)

Description: Livio Felluga's Pinot Grigio is intense and tightly knit. Due to the later vintage, the colour is less coppery in colour than in past years, despite undergoing a similar period of skin contact. Full and floral on the nose, with perfumes of wild roses, acacia blossom, exotic fruits and quince, it is dry and rich with zesty acidity on the palate.
