Sella & Mosca RAIM Isola dei Nuraghi IGT Sardegna
Description: Intense ruby red, warm vinous scent with fruity reminiscences and a discrete hint of oak. Dry, full-bodied, with softened tannin and grassy hints within a broader oaky structure. Envelops with warmth and with the richness of its extracts. The impressive structure of Sella & Mosca, with over 500 hectares of vineyards in the Alghero area of north-west Sardinia, makes them one of Europe's largest wineries to produce exclusively form their own grapes. Investments in state of the art technology and vineyard management gives Sella & Mosca's wines incredible consistency. Since the company's foundation in 1899 by the eponymous Piemontese partners, it has set the winegrowing standard for Sardinia. The white wines are very modern in style, very clean, with an extraordinary freshness given the hot Mediterranean climate. The red production is mostly in a more traditional vein, with ripe Mediterranean spicy flavours to the fore (12 x 75 cl)
