Marion Amarone della Valpolicella DOC
Description: Amarone is a wine which can be considered, more than many others, as a truly artistic product. The wine-making processes involved call for experience and self discipline, crucial ingredients for achieving the full quality of this wine. Only certain vintages provide that outstanding quality worthy of the Amarone name, and one of its secrets lies in maintaining the partial drying process as natural as it is possible to do. A blend dominated by 45% Corvinone; 25% Corvina gentile; 20% Rondinella; 10% Croatina and 5% other varieties is showing an intense ruby red colour with a hint of violet. The bouquet has notes of mature, red fruits, such as cherries, amarena cherries, dried prunes, woodland fruits, blackberries and blueberries. The palate has a good, soft, ample structure and again confirms the nose, ending with spices, black pepper, canella and liquorice. (6 x 75 cl)

Delicato CLAY STATION Petite Sirah Lodi California
Description: There is nothing petite about Petite Sirah. It has traditionally been used in blends to make red wines bigger and more assertive. The Clay Station Petite Sirah was fermented warm and handled gently throughout the winemaking process, maximizing color and flavor extraction. 93% was barrel aged 12 months in both new and older American and French oak. The remainder was cellared in stainless steel to better preserve the fresh blueberry fruit character typical of the variety. This is a big, full bodied and peppery red wine with lots of blueberry character and flavor mingling with notes of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate and hints of toast and vanilla. It is a robust wine perfect for barbeque, chicken cacciatore or spinach ravioli in a meaty red tomato sauce. (12 x 75 cl)

Chateau La Conseillante Pomerol
Description: Chateau La Conseillante is located on the highest part of the Pomerol plateau. The soil has a large concentration of clay in the northern part, bordering of Petrus, and clay-gravel soil in the southern part, bordering on Chateau Cheval Blanc. Five generations of the Nicolas family have worked hard to maintain La Conseillante's excellent reputation over the past 126 years. Care is taken to keep yields low and produce perfectly ripe grapes, which are hand picked. Chateau La Conseillante is aged in 100% new oak barrels in great vintages. La Conseillante is full, round, velvety and creamy with all the voluptuous softness of Merlot combined with the finesse of Cabernet Franc, which also contributes a fruity bouquet with hints of truffle. A perfect balance between elegance and power is the hallmark of La Conseillante. Clay-gravel on iron-oxide rich subsoil. "...a noteworthy finesse, elegance and velvety texture." Parker, (12 x 75 cl)
