Description: The Poliziano estate was purchased by the Carletti family in 1961 and today it is run by Federico Carletti, assisted by oenologist Carlo Ferrini. In Montepulciano the Poliziano vineyards are located at an altitude of between 280 and 440 metres above sea level. Poliziano pays great attention also to the processing and vinification of the grapes aiming at the production of a typical wine with territorial characteristics. A dark ruby coloured wine with dark forrest fruit aromas that are reflected in the powerful, concentrated flavours and a great velvety finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: The Poliziano estate was purchased by the Carletti family in 1961 and today it is run by Federico Carletti, assisted by oenologist Carlo Ferrini. This wine is a blend of Sangiovese, merlot, canaiolo nero and mammolo and is aged for two years in oak, 2/3 in large neutral barrels and 1/3 in small barriques. Concentrated flavors of dark fruits arel offset nicely by oak. With spicy flavors on the long finish, this is a rich, well balanced wine. (12 x 75 cl)

Dark violet ruby in color and on the nose it is showing supple new leather, dried berries, smoke and currants.
