Description: Greenish yellow in colour, Pinot Blanc grown in the Eppan area develops a distinctive though discreet aroma of ripe apple. By virtue of the altitude and sharp contrast between day and night time temperatures, even when the grapes are fully ripe with a high concentration of sugar this wine always displays a firm backbone of acidity to balance the opulent body. It is eminently enjoyable for social drinking and as an aperitif, though also makes an excellent food wine and goes well with a variety of fish dishes and lightly flavoured white meats. (6 x 75 cl)
