Description:
The Ingoldby Shiraz is deep purple in colour with bright violet hues. Aromas of berry fruit with a hint of peppery spice develop into a soft, well-structured palate. This wine displays soft, generous Shiraz flavours with a hint of oak and an elegant finish. The Shiraz grapes were fermented at a cool controlled temperature to retain the fresh fruit characters and release the rich colour without extracting harsh tannins. The wine was then pressed into new and seasoned American and French oak barrels for 10 months maturation. (6 x 75 cl)

Yering Station Shiraz Viognier Yarra Valley Victoria
Description: Established in 1838 as the first vineyard in Victoria, the winery was built by Paul de Castella in 1859 from hand-made bricks, it originally housed some very advanced wine-making equipment that Paul de Castella had imported from France. An elegant example of a cool climate shiraz. This vibrant wine is medium-bodied, yet has a dense palate with a fantastic concentration of fruit flavour. A Deep Garnet coloured blend of 95% Shiraz and 5% Viognier. This wine has a complex and powerful nose, due in part to the addition of 5% viognier on the ferment. It has aromas of ripe berries, complex violet, liquorice and spice with a tarry oak complexity. The palate is full and rich with liquorice and floral flavours. Well balanced with soft ripe tannins and a silky, long and clean finish. This wine will gain intensity and palate length with further bottle age. (6 x 75 cl) Price: £87.20
