Description: Chateau Rozier is a family owned and run 23-hectare estate headed by Jean-Bernard Saby and supported by his two sons. All oenologists, they take great pride in the Grand Cru classification wines they produce on this estate. The hand harvested wines are made from vines with an average of 45 years old and spend 12 months in new and used Oak barrels. This wine is a blend dominated by Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is a dark garnet colour and is showing dark forrest fruit aromas of berries, plum, black currant and hints of oak. The rich forrest fruit aromas follow through onto the palate and provide good balance as well as structure to support the great finish.
