It all began in 1898, when Pietro Sartori brought a vineyard and a small cellar near Negrar to assure a steady supply of good quality wine for his hotel. Today, the fourth generation of the family still run the business and the aim as always has been to produce wine of great quality and character. This light golden coloured wine is a blend of 60% Pinot Grigio and 40% Chardonnay, it has fresh fruit aromas, with a slightly aromatic young taste. (12 x 75 cl)

Gallo uses only used large barrels for the Pinot Grigio to ensure the oakiness does not smother the delicacy of the fruit. Gianfranco Gallo is a perfectionist. Not for him the unoaked, over-sweetened simplicity of many white wines from Friuli; he is more interested in richness, texture, length, complexity and the ability to age.
