Description: Jetzelsdorf is one of a few areas in Austria which has a tradition of red wine production dating back at least two centuries. Soft, rolling hills, a sunny climate with a high average annual temperature and long annual sunshine hours make it ideal for production of exciting local grape varieties such as Blauer Portugieser. The Bauer family is known to have farmed in what is now the Weinveirtel wine growing district of Austria since 1721, where wines are traditionally produced, the bunches are destemmed and fermented in closed tanks with regular pumping over. Norbert Bauer has recently won accolades from Wine Magazine for his superb reds, this is no exception (12 x 75 cl)
