Description:
Considered to be the king of the Veronese wines. The best grapes from the Valpolicella area are carefully selected and placed on racks to dry until January at which time the grapes are pressed and the juice left in contact with skins for 21 days. The wine is aged for 30 months before bottling, creating a rich, lingering, spicy wine. (6 x 75 cl)

ZenatoValpolicella Superiore DOC Veneto Description: The wine has a ruby red colour, delicate almond bouquet and a dry, velvety flavour. An outstanding example of how good Valpolicella can be. Grape Varieties 70% Corvina Veronese, 20% Rondinella, 5% Sangiovese & 5% Molinara Maturation and Vinification Hand harvested from 24 year old vines situated in the Sant' Ambrogio hills. Following the harvest, the grapes are delicately pressed. The juice remains in contact with the skins for 12 days and is then aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks and a further 6-8 months in oak barrels before release. (12 x 37.5 cl) Price: £73.78
