The Cave Saint Desirat Co-operative is a significant producer of St Joseph in the Northern Rhone. Syrah is the main red variety in this region and has been grown here for hundreds of years. This vin de pays possesses a fairly dense red robe and an aromatic, highly original nose with wild, spicy and red berry notes. In the mouth this single varietal wine is fresh and fruity, with rustic tannins and a firm, typical finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Since then he has increased that figure to 11 hectares, spread over the appellations of Cote Rotie, Condrieu, St. Joseph Rouge and St. Joseph Blanc. Most of his wines are sold in France and we consider ourselves very fortunate indeed to have secured a small allocation of his very pure and elegant wines.
