Description: Cuvée L’Almandin is an unfiltered blend of Syrah , Grenache and Mourvedre , which spends two years in cask prior to bottling. This vintage belongs resolutely to the South of France, and has plenty of concentrated fruit, a fine tannin structure and a long, rich finish. Sister and brother team, Marcelle and Michel Causse, have 25 hectares of vineyard in the comune of Fontanais, mostly planted with mature Syrah vines, as well as significant plantings of 25 year old Grenache and some Mourvèdre.
