Description: This Sweet Red is a dessert wine made from a blend of Tinta Amarella grown on the Fairview farm near Darling, and Shiraz from Paarl. The wine is fortified with 5 year old brandy spirits and aged in used oak barrels for approximately 8 months, before bottling. The Sweet Red has great depth of vibrant red colour with perfumes of violets and black cherries on the nose. On the palate, it is rich and powerful, with flavours of Christmas cake and toasted walnuts combined with a savoury edge. It has a long and intense on the finish. (12 x 75 cl) Price: £140.51
