Tasmania's latitude and island status was identified and with its unique climates more closely resembling the classic winegrowing regions of France this has been achieved. Tigress is the second tier of wines produced by Bay of Fires Winery. 100% Tasmanian, the wines in the range aim to capture a sense of place that reflects the true essence of Tasmania. As with the Bay of Fires range, fruit for Tigress is sourced across Tasmania, taking advantage of diverse viticultural conditions and enabling the selection of only the most premium parcels from each region. 100% Pinot Noir it is a vibrant cherry red colour with a perfumed cherry and raspberry nose. Cherry and raspberry flavours follow through from the aromas while the wine has a soft, round and generous mouth feel. The Silky tannin and good length make this an elegant wine. (6 x 75 cl)

The style of this wine highlights the unique freshness and elegance of cool climate chardonnays. A brilliant, deep straw coloured wine with lifted fresh peach and nectarine aromas, intermingled with fine lemony oak. Juicy stone fruit flavours with spicy ginger overtones and subtle oak are evident while the round generous structure with citrus notes complements the finish.

The extreme cool climate of the Bay of Fires property allows maximum flavour retention through the long slow ripening season. This also preserves the most delicate of fruit flavours in aromatic varieties such as Riesling. Pale straw coloured wine with silvery hues. The nose is lifted yet delicate with an aroma of lemon blossom and subtle floral, frangipani tones. This Riesling has a fresh palate with lemon and lime citrus flavours and a soft roundness on the mid-palate. The crisp, refreshing acidity on the finish complements the delicate purity of this wine (6 x 75 cl)
