Gallo Family Vineyards TURNING LEAF Pinot Noir California
Description: Our California Pinot Noir offers jammy cherry flavors enhanced by a hint of cedar on the finish. The conditions for the vintage were such that California experienced warm spring days followed by hot spells in late July and August. These conditions yielded grapes with crisp acidity and intense varietal flavors. In order to preserve these rich full flavors, the grapes were crushed at the winery and transferred to stainless steel for fermentation. 100% of the wine went through malolactic fermentation for greater flavor concentration and texture integration. The wine was aged in oak to add complexity while softening the wine in the process. (6 x 75 cl)
