Seriously structured, dark and spicy with smoky notes, this is very fine. 90% Sangiovese & 10% Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot. As above but with 18-20 months ageing in small oak casks The estate covers an area of 150 hectares, situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico district, in the municipality of Greve in Chianti. Vignamaggio is approximately 33 km south of Florence and 35 km north of Siena. Legend states that Leonardo da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa in one of the rooms here. (12 x 75 cl)
