Santadi stands out as one of the best examples of co-operative winemaking in Sardinia. Founded in 1960, it currently has 250 members cultivating 400 hectares of vineyards in the Sulcis area, on the south-western side of the island. In 2000 this wine received a recognition from the Tre Bicchieri del Gambero Rosso. Villa di Chiesa is a blend, which harmonises typical Vermentino grape types with the Chardonnay. Fermented and refined in barriques of French oak, this wine is full-bodied and possesses a complex and fruity bouquet, while on the palate it is harmonious and intense. (6 x 75 cl)
