W & J Graham's SIX GRAPES Vintage Character Ruby Port
Description: Six Grapes is one of Graham's original Port blends and is thus one of the Company's oldest marks. It is a very full-bodied, luscious wine drawn from the same vineyards as Graham's Vintage Ports. Blended from two or three years' harvests, the wine is an average of five to six years old when bottled. It follows the Graham's Vintage style very closely, although it has softened more quickly by being matured in oak casks rather than in bottle. Its extremely rich fruity style makes it a truly superb, rare and appealing Port. The rather curious depiction on the bottle of bunches of grapes has always been used to identify the "Six Grapes" blend. (6 x 75 cl)

Babich WINEMAKER'S RESERVE Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough NZ
Description: Overview: The fruit of our two Marlborough vineyards were blended to produce this rich and flavoursome wine: Cowslip Valley , providing full, soft and luscious fruit weight, and Wakefield Downs , bringing strength and focus. Tasting Notes: A heady, sweet bouquet overflowing with gooseberry, pea and melon, a hint of thyme is also evident. The weighty palate exhibits a fruit salad of tropical flavours with nettles and spice on the lengthy finish. Recommended Cellaring: 1-3 years Production Notes: The grapes were harvested in April. The Awatere and a majority of the Waihopai juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks to capture the exuberant varietal character of the fruit. The balance of Waihopai juice was fermented in French oak barriques and lees stirred to contribute weight and complexity. The wine was blended in August. Grapes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc (6 x 75 cl)

Preece Merlot Victoria Australia

Juicy and fresh but with a lovely weight of fruit and fine ripe tannins. 14.5% Producer Profile Made at the Mitchelton winery in Victoria , the Preece wines take their name from Australian wine legend Colin Preece who was one of the first people to spot and cultivate Victoria's potential for winemaking back in the early 1970s. The wines are made with all the care and attention to detail you'd expect of winemaker Toby Barlow and his team and reflect Victoria's cooler climate with an elegant, approachable style in contrast to the bigger blockbuster wines from elsewhere in Oz.
