Description: The Grey Label Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon is deep red in colour. The bouquet of rich berry fruit with aromas of spice, mint and eucalyptus is given complexity by hints of dark chocolate. These aromas develop on the palate, which is an elegant mouthful of flavour with soft, well-integrated tannins, subtle vanillin oak characters and a lingering finish. VITICULTURE The fruit for this wine was sourced from the outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards at Langhorne Creek. Langhorne Creek has long been the preferred region for Grey Label Cabernet Sauvignon as the rich, deep alluvial soils have been a maritime influence, producing fruit with great richness and depth of flavour. WINEMAKING Following crushing the wine was left to ferment on the skins for between five to seven days, allowing for the optimum release of colour and flavour. This technique maximised the intensity of fruit flavour without extracting excessive tannins to ensure that this wine is approachable in its youth, a hallmark of Wolf Blass wines. Individual parcels completed fermentation in new and seasoned French and American oak then wine was returned to the original oak barrels for 18 months maturation. After maturation our winemaking team carefully assessed each parcel before blending and bottling. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: The Gold Label Riesling is the ultimate expression of Australia’s finest Riesling regions. Soft straw and green colours are present in the glass. The nose displays aromas of lemon and lime with a hint of passionfruit. Intense citrus and floral flavours are evident on the well- balanced palate. This wine has an excellent acid structure and a clean, dry finish. VITICULTURE This award- winning label combines fruit with steely character from the cooler climate Eden Valley with aromatic fruit from the warmer Clare Valley. WINEMAKING After harvesting individual parcels during the cool of the night to maintain fruit freshness the grapes were gently pressed, transferred to stainless steel and then cold settled. After settling carefully controlled fermentation was initiated to ensure the Riesling fruit characters were fully captured. Screwcaps were used to retain freshness and preserve the characters of the wine. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: The Wente Chardonnay is a great example of Livermore Valley terroir. The soil shows through with a great mineral fl avor that is surrounded by apples, citrus, and pears, with a slight hint of oak. Vineyard: Livermore Valley, one of the only coastal valleys in California with an east-west orientation, has many meso-climates that are excellent for growing Chardonnay. Planted on various clones, which are all picked and vinified separately, the variation within the vineyard adds to complexity of this wine. Fermentation: 72% barrel fermented in neutral French and American oak, 38% fermented in stainless steel. Aging: The barrel-fermented portion was aged sur lie for 10 months. Batonnage, the stirring of the barrels, was performed monthly. The stainless steel portion was aged on the lees for 10 months. (12 x 75 cl)

Description: Our Vineyard Selection Cabernet Sauvignon has lush flavors of cherry and plum, with hints of cedar and violets in the nose. The tannins are smooth, making this a great pair with roasted and grilled meats, or fuller flavored fish such as salmon and Ahi tuna. Vineyard: The present generation of Livermore Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was developed from vines that California wine pioneer Charles Wetmore brought from France in the 19th century. The Wente family farms approximately 400 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards matched to the soils and mesoclimates with rootstocks and clones selected for each site. The climate of the Livermore Valley is ideal for growing red Bordeaux varieties with its long growing season that develops ripe, round fruit flavors. Fermentation: Each vineyard was harvested separately and fermented in upright fermenters. Rack and return was performed twice daily. Rack and return is the process of draining all of the free-run juice off of the cap, then pumping the free-run juice back over the top of the fermenter. This method increases color and tannin extraction and improving mouthfeel through the integration of oxygen. Aging: Each lot of wine was aged separately for 13 months in a combination of new and used French and American oak. (12 x 75 cl)

Description: The Castle Label Riesling is fragrant with good weight and balance, its roundness on the palate helped by the fact that part of the blend underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine has stunning floral aromas with hints of pineapple on the palate, great length and balance and a weight that derives from the fruit rather than sugar. With nearly 800 years of viticulture experience, Schloss Vollrads is one of the oldest wine estates, not only in Germany, but probably in the world. Situated in the heart of the Rheingau, the estate’s 60 hectares of vineyards are planted exclusively with Riesling. The quality of the Schloss Vollrads wines is the culmination of the work done by Rowald Hepp since 1997. They have pristine Riesling flavours, unmarred by the addition of suss-reserve, stunning perfumes, great length, balance and a weight that derives from the natural ripeness of the fruit rather than sugar. Description: The Grey Label Barossa/Clare/McLaren Vale Shiraz is rich deep crimson in the glass. Aromas of rich berry are given complexity by hints of pepper, spice and dark chocolate. The palate displays well-integrated fruit with soft tannins, a subtle touch of oak and a long, seamless finish. VITICULTURE The fruit for this wine was sourced from premium Shiraz vineyards in South Australia. Constant contact with Barossa, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale growers ensured that the fruit was carefully maintained to produce rich fruit bursting with flavour and varietal character. The range of vineyards and regions provided our winemaking team with many blending options. The Clare Valley fruit was rich and elegant with a tight minerally fragrance, the Barossa fruit added depth and richness to the palate and the McLaren Vale fruit was bursting with ripe, rich berry characters. The different regional fruit attributes complemented each other to produce a wine of great complexity.
