Clear and bright, lively lemony colour with a green tinge. On the nose a veritable fruit punch, explosive tropical bouquet of pineapple, banana, granadilla, guava and spanspek. The flavours unfold delightfully on the palate with a full, rich mouth feel. Layers of complexity culminate in a long lingering finish. Drinking exceptionally well now but will no doubt gain in intricacy with bottle maturation. Serve at 12 – 15°C (12 x 75 cl)

Description: This wine is a very special blend of Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. A small portion of the Chenin Blanc was barrel fermented. A straw-yellow colour with a greenish tint, on the nose it displays citrus blossoms, lime, granadilla and grassiness, with a touch of flintiness. On the palate it is crisp and dry with a rounded finish and lingering aftertaste. This food-friendly wine goes exceptionally well with seasonal salads, asparagus, grilled fish and chicken dishes.
