Warre's WARRIOR Special Reserve Port
Description: Warrior is the oldest mark of Port in the World, having been shipped continuously since the 1750's. The traditional style has been maintained over the years and is today a classic full-bodied wine with wonderful richness and balance. Aged in seasoned oak casks for 4 to 5 years before being drawn off and bottled following a light filtration. Warrior Special Reserve is ready for immediate drinking and does not require any decanting or ageing. This technique, known as cask ageing, is also used in the production of other fine Ports including the 10- and 20-year old Tawnies and Ruby, Tawny and White Ports. Wolf Blass PRESIDENTS SELECTION Chardonnay South Australia
Description: The Wolf Blass Presidents Selection Chardonnay is a vibrant lemon yellow color in the glass. Intense aromas of peach and melon develop into tropical fruit flavors on the palate, supported by subtle oak. This rich full-bodied wine has a creamy mouthfeel and a soft lingering finish. V I T I C U L T U R E The fruit for this wine was sourced from premium vineyards in South Australia. WINEMAKI N G Many of the parcels of fruit used for the 2003 Presidents Selection Chardonnay were fermented in new French and American oak. Barrel fermentation was followed by extended lees contact and stirring, with some malolactic fermentation. The wine was matured in barrel for five months. (6 x 75 cl)
