Thanks to the lucky foresight and intuition of the Manlio Collavini, Il Grigio was created in 1974. The foundations for a good sparklingwine were already in the cellars. The right mixture just had to be found between Prosecco, and Chardonnay to obtain a wine that would be innovative and easy to drink. Chardonnay was chosen for its elegance and body.
