Description:
This Sauvignon Blanc, Vin de Pays du Val de Loire is made solely from Sauvignon Blanc. It is dry, yet aromatic, and has depth on the mid palate which makes it highly quaffable. Fermented solely in stainless steel, the wine has a fragrant, nettley character and crisp acidity on the finish. This Vin de Pays comes from the co-operative of Valencay and the winemaker is Sebastian Vaillant. The expression Vin de Pays du Val de Loire (of the Loire Valley) was created by a decree on 10th May 2007 and replaces the former name “Vin de Pays du Jardin de la France” (from the Garden of France) for describing the local wines produced in the Loire Valley. The wine is bottled under stelvin so that it can be enjoyed free from cork taint and in perfect condition
